Scan when writing
Here you can specify the file types that will be scanned at the moment they are saved. You can specify that all files should be scanned (“Scan all files”) or just those with particular extensions:
- Scan files with default extensions – only those files with extensions that are considered potentially dangerous (e.g. “.exe”) will be scanned
- Scan files with custom extensions – here you can specify the file types that should be scanned based on their extension. You can use the wildcard “?”; for example, if you want all .htm and .html files to be scanned, you can enter both extensions, or just use the wildcard “ht?”. Note however, that this would result in all files with extensions that begin with “ht” being scanned e.g. files with the extension .htt.
